Important Notices

  • New Starting with your April 2025 returns, the ST-1 consolidated form will replace the ST-8 and ST-9 file layouts. You'll also be able to use Web Upload for more sales tax types, the ST-6 and ST-7, with this change. While the ST-1 change is in place for April 2025 returns, you may continue using your current file layout through the June filing period. However, we encourage you to download and use the new ST-1 file layout as soon as possible to avoid problems when the old layout is no longer available for the July filing period. No account number registration information will change. File a separate ST-1 return for each account number, as applicable.

    Do you report food and personal hygiene sales? We recommend watching this 2-minute video before creating your ST-1 file layout. Although the video is directed toward eForms filers, it goes over important changes for how to enter food and personal hygiene sales that apply to WebUpload.
  • If you are having trouble getting your file to load, please check to make sure there are no special characters in the file name i.e. apostrophes, parentheses, percentage signs, etc. If there are, please rename the file without special characters, save the file and reload.
